Let it Snow and the Sun Will Come out (literally) TOMORROW!

So. Midwest. May 2nd snowstorm. May goddamn 2nd! I was ready for the snow to be gone in January. And then we get this massive storm in May. WTF.
On the plus side...the sun came out literally the NEXT day and it was half melted by Cinco de Mayo.

Just thought I'd cover that little funky situation. Not much else to say about it. It's just been some crazy weather this month in the Midwest. It was in the 90s yesterday believe it or not. And it was that heavy heat. You know what I'm talking about. Not the best part about summer. Dry heat with a slight breeze. That is the shiznit right there.

Like I said, I just wanted to mention the odd happenings here in Mini-so-ta.

  1. The weather has been so weird this year. I have quite a few friends from Texas, so I've had to tell them over and over how unusual this is. Wouldn't want them to think we normally have 9 months of snow. This isn't Canada.

Oddly, though, we didn't get any snow on May 2nd up here in the cities. Well, scratch that, we did. But it was actually on May 1st, lasted for about half an hour, and melted immediately. But we did get a lot more snow throughout all of April then you did down there. So it balances out.

  2. Very true, but I'm sure most people could make that mistake.

Well then aren't you cool. I live in Austin, as you know. And I couldn't even make it to work that day.
